Join Intelligent Health AI this Friday at 11am BST as we reveal the 3rd episode of our Going Viral webinar series: Long term implications of health data use in the response to COVID-19.

The COVID-19 response requires unprecedented public health measures, many of which rely on accurate health data. Using patient data to plan and mitigate against disease spread is necessary, especially to identify individuals that are most at risk.

Decisions made now could fundamentally change how health data can be used and managed now and in the future. It’s important that the emergency response to the crisis is balanced with consideration of long-term implications.

This webinar will focus on what needs to be in place to make sure that data is used in trustworthy ways, to slow the COVID-19 spread and ultimately save lives.

  • What is the appropriate use of health data in the context of a pandemic? What good examples are emerging?
  • How do we balance individual patient rights with collective need, and what’s needed to maintain the trust of the public that data uses are proportionate?
  • What 2-3 requirements must be in place now to use health-related data responsibly during this time of crisis?
