The role of big tech in healthcare - Dr Greg Moore, Microsoft Health

At the Intelligent Health Summit in September 2020, Victoria Macdonald, Health and Social Care Editor, Channel 4 News interviewed Dr. Greg Moore, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Health on the topic of 'Who is driving the AI health ecosystem.'

Dr. Greg Moore is both a physician and an engineer, and is passionate about access to healthcare as a basic right. Dr. Moore also sits within one of the largest tech players in the world influencing their approach to the healthcare sector. As Dr. Moore says in his interview, this is can be seen as a responsibility on big tech to enable their partners to transform the face of this sector, specifically in places that lack basic health infrastructure. 

As we know from our discussions over the years, even access to data that can aid diagnostics is a powerful application of AI which saves lives. Dr. Moore is one of the many in our community who have witnessed the power of data in advancing medical care.
