So Lucy, what excites you most about the application of AI in healthcare?

Opportunity to co-develop with the key users and trial it quickly in real-world conditions. If successful, you can drive immediate change and adoption.

What’s your biggest fear about the application of AI in health/medicine?

Monopolization due to few large platform providers, deciding the adoption and social coms channels towards patients and HCPs. Lock-in of use by the decision of large tech players.

How do you think AI will make its biggest mark in healthcare in the next 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

The biggest mark will come thanks to the full integration with additional non-pure health focus solutions -within the concept of smart homes, driverless vehicles, smart cities and smart devices.
