If you could solve any global health problem in the world with AI, what would it be?:
Sustainability

Presuming that was solved, what would your second choice be?:
Equality

How do you think AI will make its biggest mark in healthcare in the next 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?:
There's so many possibilities - direct and indirect (procurement, HR, process management etc) productivity tool. I'm excited about the potential for reorientation of care based around emerging diagnostic interpretative and LLM-based assistive tools. I'm dazzled by what's on horizon next couple of years: I'm not sure what's beyond that.

What excites you most about the application of AI in healthcare?:
Its drawing in enthusiasm and talent from so many directions, the opportunities are endless and so many challenges are going to be addressed if not directly by AI but benefit indirectly eg from improvements in structured data, service transformation.

What’s your biggest fear in relation to the application of AI in the health/medicine field?:
Perception that its over-hyped: when there's implementation stumbles and when transformation happens slower than some hope that people lose hope.

How do you think AI will cause human contact in healthcare to change in the future?:
Rationalise information gathering and information processing, to allow patients and clinicians more time to focus on meaningful interactions

What does AI mean for the skill requirements of health professionals? How will it change?:
AI knowledge and skills will need to be developed, initially this will come with experience. We'll need to embed this in undergraduate and postgraduate curriculums and CPD: hopefully AI will also assist with education about AI...

Which 2 people do you admire most in the world of AI in healthcare in terms of their work?:
Too many to single out

Why did you choose to present at Intelligent Health?:
Programme and audience caught attention: opportunity to hear from range of colleagues working at AI edge

What are your personal goals from the summit?:
Networking, knowledge update, acquire new ideas
